The great and the good of the unofficial Presteigne St Andrews FC 100 Club committee will be convening this evening for the November draw.
This is due to take place in the bar of the Radnorshire Arms at around 9.00pm this evening although – in the true traditions of this monthly ritual – this can be ‘seasonally adjusted’ as successive governments have put it when talking of the unemployment figures.
But it will be round about then when the winning balls will be drawn from the bag and four people will be better off as a result.
If you are around and would like to join those in charge of the draw, then you would be very welcome – let’s face it, the Radnorshire Arms is a very convivial place in which to congretate for a Friday-night ‘sharpener’, not least because they usually have the log fire going.
