Presteigne Reserves’ scheduled Mid Wales League (South) match at Newbridge Reserves on Saturday, 2 February has been postponed.
This is because there was an administrative error when the fixtures were published – Newbridge’s first team are due to host Llansantffraid Village on the same day and so something had to give.
The Spar Mid Wales League takes precedence over the Mid Wales League (South) and so Mark Weiland and Barry Williams’ side will have to sit this one out.
This will be massively frustrating for everyone concerned with the Reserves’ squad as this is the fifth postponement they have had in their last nine scheduled games.
But these things happen and the Reserves will just have to bide their time until their next scheduled match which will be at St Harmon on Saturday, 9 February.
