….to anyone, but news reaches me that tonight’s HFA Giantkillers Cup tie for the Under 18s at Pegasus Juniors has been called off.
Apparently there is standing water on the playing surface at Old School Lane so it is no great surprise they have had to postpone the match.
That is three times now that the game has gone by the wayside, so we will have to hope for better luck next time – whenever that might be.
We will bring you news of a new date for the game just as soon as that news reaches us, but this could to another shuffling of the fixture list to get all the games in.
The Under 18s are next due in action a week tomorrow – Thursday, 8 February – when Wellington are due to visit Llanandras Park.
Let’s hope we get better weather and that game can actually go ahead as planned – it is now 10 of the last 12 Under 18 games that have been postponed or, in one case, abandoned. They are due a change of luck.
