It will be an all-Breconshire final in the Sparey Cup

Builth Wells Reserves have booked their place in the Alfred Sparey Cup final when they beat Knighton Town Reserves 1-0 in the second semi-final on Tuesday, 30 April.

The game appeared to be evenly matched for much of the first half with both sides enjoying their moments in the ascendancy but, in the end, one goal was enough to clinch it for Builth.

They will now take on Brecon Town in the final this coming Sunday on Sunday, 5 May when the kick off will be at 2.30pm.

Congratulations to Builth’s Reserves on progressing through to the final and it’s to be hoped we get a good crowd for Sunday’s game – here’s hoping the weather is with us and we get a game to befit the occasion.

Admission prices for Sunday’s final will be £2.50 for adults, £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
