Presteigne St Andrews FC’s club chairman Alan Randell has confirmed there is to be a change of friendly fixture this weekend.
The first team had originally been due to take on Montgomery Town at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 3 August, but this game will not now take place.
But Alan explains the club has moved quickly to arrange a replacement fixture so that the players can have another useful work out.
“We have several players who were unavailable on Saturday and Montgomery Town told us they couldn’t play on Friday night,” said Alan.
“But we have now managed to arrange a game against Leominster Town on Friday evening – this will be at Llanandras Park where the kick off will be at 7.30pm.
“We are very grateful to Leominster Town for agreeing to step in at short notice,” he added.
