Presteigne St Andrews FC will host Rhosgoch Rangers in a Spar Mid Wales League, second division match at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 30 November.

This is clearly a big game for both sides as a look at the league table shows things are hotting up towards the top of the division.

Rhosgoch are going very well – they are top of the second division with a record of six wins from seven matches, so they are clearly going to be a tough proposition.

But Presteigne boss Danny Williams will quite rightly point out that we reach the final day of November with his side amazingly having played only five league matches so far this season.

Presteigne are undefeated in those five games and so there is likely to be no quarter asked or given in this one, while the derby element will add a bit of extra spice to proceedings.

Danny will have to make do without both Alex Winstone and Joe Mayglothling for this one as both are suspended following their red cards in last Saturday’s game at Hay St Marys.

Alex is looking at a four-game ban as it was his second dismissal of the season, while Joe will serve a two-match suspension.

Meanwhile, the Reserves are back on the J Emrys Morgan Cup trail as they head to Dewi Stars for their third-round tie.

Dewi Stars came through their delayed second-round tie last weekend when they saw off visiting Machynlleth Reserves 4-3.

Manager Mark Weiland has been giving his thoughts on that tie and also the disappointment of going out of the Sparey Cup at home to Radnor Valley.

Kick off in the first team game against Rhosgoch Rangers will be at 2.30pm and the admission will be the usual £2.50 for adults, £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
