Presteigne St Andrews FC will be putting on another music night at Llanandras Park, when the star turn will be one of Herefordshire’s rising acts, Sons of Yoda.

The gig is fixed for Saturday, 27 September in the clubhouse at Llanandras Park with things getting underway at around 9.00pm.

The Leominster-based four piece rock band is gaining a growing reputation on the local music scene and so it’s good to be able to welcome them to Presteigne.

The band is made up of Adrian Palmer, Dan Palmer, Nick Smith and Adam Edwards and further details can be found on their Facebook page by clicking here.

Vice-chairman, Tom Ammonds says it’s good to welcome a new band to the club and he’s hoping local music fans will turn out in numbers to support the event.

“We listened to what some people fed us back at the beer festival when they said it was a good night, but they had had seen the bands before, so maybe we might like to change things a bit,” he said.

“So, we are bringing in Sons of Yoda on 27 September in response to this – they recently played at the Bateman Arms in Shobdon and went down very well there.

“We will be charging £3.00 on the door on the night, so it is very reasonable and we’re looking to make a great night out.”
