Just to confirm that the first-team match at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 1 November will kick off at 2.00pm.
Presteigne St Andrews FC will host Llangedwyn in the Central Wales Cup and, despite the fact we have lights at Llanandras Park, it has been deemed the game will kick off at 2.00pm.
Apparently, there has been some confusion over this, so best we clarify the position we go any further.
The cup committee is probably trying to avoid confusion by ensuring that all the ties kick off at the same time – it might well be a recipe for disaster if clubs were left to sort it out between themselves.
There will be a more detailed preview of the game – and the Reserves’ match – posted on Friday, 31 October, but – in order to avoid any chance of confusion – please note the first-team game will kick off at 2.00pm.
There is no more disheartening feeling in local football than turning up for a 2.30pm to discover you have already missed half an hour – and a couple of goals!
