Presteigne Reserves’ home match against Rhayader Town Reserves has been brought forward to Friday, 21 November.

The game was originally due to be held on Saturday, 22 November but the clubs have now agreed to a Friday night game instead.

Vice-chairman Tom Ammonds said the club apologises for not getting the information out there sooner, but the change was only confirmed in the last day or so.

“We would have got the news out there earlier but the fixture was only finalised on Saturday afternoon,” he said.

“Obviously, both sides have to agree and then there are other factors, such as the referee and sorting out the staffing for the game.

“But all that has now been sorted and we are pleased to confirm the game will definitely go ahead on Friday night – weather conditions permitting,” he added.

After the 2-1 win at Brecon Northcote on Saturday, 15 November, the Reserves will be keen to get back into action against one of the sides that is usually up there and challenging at the top of the Mid Wales League (South) table.
