Fair Play League – latest position

fair_play_logoPresteigne St Andrews FC’s disciplinary record remains among the best in the Spar Mid Wales League, second division.

This is a welcome improvement on the performances of recent seasons and it’s to be hoped Jamie Allen’s side continues in the same vein for the rest of the season.

So far this season, the first team has had one red card and three yellows – a record that leaves them in second place in the fair play table behind the second division leaders, Hay St Marys.

I am sure there is a logical reason for it, but Hay St Marys have also had one red and three yellows, and yet they are on 22 disciplinary points, while we are on 24.

Perhaps this is down to the ability of clubs to reduce their points total through the promotion of the Fair Play table through their match programmes or online.

As a result of this, we shall be doing the same thing – and so you can view the full listings for Welsh football by clicking on the following link which will bring up a PDF file.

FAW Fair Play Table until 31st October.

Well done to the first team – this is a definite step in the right direction and long may this improvement in our disciplinary record continue.
