Presteigne’s Under 17s’ management team will take a look at the Llanandras Park pitch at 9.30am on Sunday morning before deciding where their scheduled match is to be played.
Presumably they will be liaising with groundsman Tracy Hammond as to whether the town ground is in a fit enough condition to host their HFL match against Ross Junior Colts.
They have a ‘Plan B’ in the shape of the John Beddoes School field should it be decided that the town ground could do with a breather.
Haydn Williams and Alan Crichton will be keen to get the game on if possible as this will be the last scheduled fixture before Christmas.
On top of this, the Under 17s have found a bit of form in recent weeks and so they will be keen to keep that particular bandwagon rolling into the festive period.
