The Reserves will host Sennybridge and Builth Reserves in March

The Mid Wales League (South) fixtures for March have been released and Mark Weiland’s side will face some interesting games over the month, although they will also have one Saturday off from competitive action.

They will open with a home game against Sennybridge on Saturday, 7 March but will be left seeking alternative entertainment a week later as they are without a game.

It is quarter-final time in the Pip Samuel (Electrical) League Cup that weekend and so there are not too many league fixtures taking place.

But it will back to it the following weekend when ‘Weedo’ and the boys will face a tricky little trip to Llanidloes Town Reserves on 21 March.

They will round off the month back at Llanandras Park when they will host Builth Wells Reserves on 28 March.

These games have been added into the fixtures grid – all you have to do to get the full picture is to hover your cursor over the ‘Reserves’ tab at the top of the page and then click on this season’s fixtures from the drop down menu that should appear.

Incidentally, if you are a Reserve-team player who in the past has, perhaps, grumbled about a long distance away trip, spare a thought for Sennybridge in March.

They are due with us on 7 March before then heading to Carno Reserves for their League Cup tie a week later – nice local trip, then.

They do get a home game against Radnor Valley the following week before rounding off the month with a trip to St Harmon, so they will be really racking up the miles in March.
