Change for fixture for the Reserves on 7 March

The Mid Wales League (South) league secretary Paul Worts has informed all clubs that, regrettably, Sennybridge FC has withdrawn from this season’s competition.

It is never nice to see any club have to take such a radical decision and it’s to be hoped Sennybridge can regroup and come back in the future.

But their decision to pull out will clearly impact on both past results this season and the future fixtures as Sennybridge’s record has been expunged (good word) from the league records.

The Reserves are one league defeat better off than they were – if you follow my drift – as they lost 3-1 at Sennybridge back in September, but this will be struck from the records.

Looking ahead, there will be a change of fixture for Saturday, 7 March as the Reserves had been due to host Sennybridge that day, but they will now instead entertain St Harmon at Llanandras Park.

Talgarth Town Reserves had been initially due to play St Harmon on that day, but they will now not have a game as Paul Worts points out that ‘Weedo’s’ side still has eight home matches to get in this season, and so it’s important we have a game that day.
