Penybont at Llanandras Park for final home game

Presteigne St Andrews FC
A tough day on the road

Presteigne St Andrews FCPresteigne St Andrews FC will round off their Spar Mid Wales League, second-division home league programme when they will take on Penybont on Saturday, 18 April.

This is the first season for ‘The ‘bont’ at this level and they have found it tough going as they currently lie one off the foot of the table.

But they will arrive at Llanandras Park knowing that were they to win their final two games, then they could overhaul Newbridge and climb out of the bottom two.

In fact, a win and a draw would be enough for Penybont as their goal difference is better than that of Newbridge.

This will be a game between the side with the second-worst home record in the division and the second-worst away record, so something will surely have to give.

The kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 2.30pm and the admission prices will be the usual £2.50 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
