Presteigne St Andrews FC’s secretary Tom Ammonds is on the look out for any referees who might be happy to help the club by taking charge of a pre-season friendly or two.
“We have a good selection of games lined up at Llanandras Park for both the first team and the Reserves, but we could do with some referees to help us out,” said Tom.
“If anyone can assist us, I would be very grateful and if they could get in touch with me direct that would be handy.
“As players need match practice ahead of the start of the season proper, maybe there are a few match officials who might welcome the chance to have a run out before it all kicks off for real.
“We know there is a shortage of referees around the mid-Wales area and that a lot of clubs will be calling on officials for their friendlies.
“But, if any referee fancies a day or an evening out at Llanandras Park, we can promise them a warm welcome and maybe a drink or two in the bar afterwards,” he added.
