Training session instead of Bromyard game

It will now be ‘down the ground’ for midday on Saturday

Presteigne St Andrews FC’s scheduled pre-season friendly at Bromyard Town on Saturday, 1 August has been cancelled.

I have been told this is because Bromyard Town have informed us they are unable to raise a side for the game.

While this is clearly a blow coming, as it does, so close to the start of the league season, the first-team management team is determined to make the best of a bad job.

So, there will be a training session on Saturday afternoon instead and all players are asked to report to the club at 12.00pm.

It will then be decided if the training session will take place on the ground or on the school field.

So, all those of you who might just have been thinking this was now a chance for a sneaky day off in the run up to the start of the season – oh, no!

The management team will be looking for a good turn out at what will be a key training session before things kick off for real against Builth Wells on Friday, 7 August.
