Presteigne Reserves were on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline in their Mid Wales League (South) home match against Brecon Northcote on Saturday, 26 March.
After an encouraging showing in their previous outing at Newcastle, the Ressies would have been hopeful of backing that up in this one.
Heading into the last 10 minutes, it looked as though they were on course to do just that as Duane Anning and John Bright’s side led 2-1.
But two late goals from the visitors saw the Reserves’ hopes dashed as they slipped to a 3-2 defeat.
As yet, I don’t have details of the goal scorers or any other information that would flesh out the bones of this one but, as soon as I do, I will add them in.
There will be another home game for the Reserves on Saturday, 2 April when the Reserves will entertain the league leaders, Rhayader Town Reserves.
