Kington Town have booked their place in the final of the Presteigne Otway Cup after a 1-0 win over Radnor Valley in their semi-final at Llanandras Park on Tuesday, 24 May.

The former Presteigne St Andrews player Nick Evans scored the decisive goal after around 20 minutes.

This means Kington Town will now meet Hay St Mary’s in the final which will be played at Llanandras Park on Sunday, 29 May.

Both the Sparey and Otway Cup finals will be staged on 29 May – the Sparey Cup final between Newcastle and Hay St Mary’s Reserves will kick off at 1.00pm, with the Otway final due to kick off at 5.00pm.

Further details on the admission prices and other arrangements will be published here nearer the day itself.

But congratulations to Kington Town and it should be a good final against Hay St Mary’s who are the current holders of the trophy.
