Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Super Lotto has rolled over again after there was no outright winner in the draw held on Sunday, 21 August.
The four numbers drawn out of the hat were: 1, 8, 17 and 23.
Those rattling the woodwork this week were Barry Williams and Vonny Clay, both of whom had three of the four numbers needed.
Barry’s ticket was reportedly a combined effort in that each of the last four people left in the clubhouse after the Welsh Cup tie against Borth United on Saturday chose one of the numbers on his ticket!
The jackpot has now risen to a hefty £1436.00 and the next draw will take place in the Farmers Inn on Sunday, 28 August at around 1.00pm.
A public ‘thank you’ to those businesses around the town who very generously agree to sell the tickets on the club’s behalf – it is much appreciated.
So, if you fancy a chance of scooping the jackpot this coming weekend, then you will need to get your hands on a ticket.
