Presteigne St Andrews FC are out of the Radnorshire Cup after a 4-1 defeat at Llandrindod Wells on Wednesday, 21 September.
Manager Tom Ammonds said his side had given it their best shot but in the end they had pulled up short.
“We went 1-0 up through Ashley Griffiths which was thoroughly deserved while we also created numerous other chances,” said Tom.
“But had a sloppy five minutes just before half-time during which time we conceded twice.
“The second half followed a similar pattern although we didn’t create too many clear cut chances.
“Given it was a cup tie, with five minutes to go we pushed on and they then hit us with two more goals with the last one taking a wicked deflection.”
