After a disappointing weekend last time out, both sides will head into their respective matches on Saturday, 26 November looking for better.

The first team were beaten at Aberystwyth University last Saturday and they face an ER Jenkins Cup first-round tie at Llansantffraid Village.

The Villagers are back in the league this season and are going pretty well – they are fourth in the table with four wins and two draws from their eight home games so far.

If you would like to hear what manager Tom Ammonds feels about both the Aberystwyth University game, the Reserves’ defeat by St Harmon in their League Cup tie and also the prospects for both sides this coming weekend, then you can click here or on the image at the top of the page.

The good news is there is likely to be a bigger pool of players from which to select for both managers after there were no fewer than nine unavailable last weekend.

If you are thinking of heading up to Llansantffraid for this one, then please bear in mind it will be a 2.00pm kick off.

As for the Reserves, they are also on the road, but they don’t have so far to go in that they have a derby game at Knighton Town Reserves to look forward to.

After the disappointment of the League Cup exit last week, manager Dale Tomkins will be keen to get things back on track at the first opportunity.

It’s hoped we will have the results up online at some stage on Saturday evening.
