The ground has passed an inspection this afternoon

Presteigne St Andrews FC’s vice-chairman and first-team manager Tom Ammonds tells me the news from the 3.00pm pitch inspection is positive and so it is ‘game on’.

“Some parts of the pitch are wet, but they are certainly playable at the moment and so the game against Newbridge goes ahead,” he said.

“Obviously, if we are suddenly hit by unexpected poor weather between now and kick off time, then we might need to take another look, but we’re not expecting that.

“So, it’s looking like ‘game on’ this evening [Friday, 13 January] and here’s hoping we get a good turnout to get behind the team,” he added.

The kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 7.30pm and admission prices will be the usual £3.00 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
