Presteigne St Andrews had to make do with a point from a 1-1 draw in their home Spar Mid Wales League, second division match against Newbridge-on-Wye on Friday, 13 January.
After a goal-less first half, the visitors took the lead after the break.
But Presteigne hit back to earn a point when Josh Gardner levelled for the home side.
Presteigne’s manager Tom Ammonds felt this had been another game that had got away from them.
“We created loads of chances but only managed to take the one through Josh,” he said.
“Newbridge created only about three or four clear cut opportunities but, fair play to them, they took one of them.
“It’s disappointing, but at least we came away with something from the game,” he added.
