Knighton Town won the Presteigne Otway Cup final on Sunday, 16 April when they beat Hay St Mary’s in the final at Llanandras Park.
After watching their Reserves win the Sparey Cup earlier in the afternoon, Hay would have been hoping to make it a double celebration on the return trip to Forest Road, but it wasn’t to be as Knighton took the spoils.
This was always likely to be a tight encounter as the sides are next-to-next in the Spar Mid Wales League first-division table.
