Presteigne Reserves were well beaten in their pre-season friendly at Kington Town Reserves on Tuesday, 15 August.
Mark Weiland and Alan Stocker’s side was on the wrong end of a 6-0 scoreline.
But a look down the Kington Town scorers list shows there were some good players in the home side’s line up for this one and so maybe we shouldn’t read too much into the result.
But the Reserves’ pre-season has certainly ebbed and flowed in terms of their results and Mark and Alan will have some food for thought as they continue the build up to the Mid Wales League (South) campaign.
The Reserves will open their league season with a game against Rhayader Town Reserves at Llanandras Park on Friday, 25 August.
