Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Super Lotto jackpot is now up over £8,000 after the weekly draw on Sunday, 20 August failed to produce an outright winner.
The four numbers drawn out of the hat on this occasion were: 10,14,18 and 20.
Almost unbelievably was again nobody with the correct combination of numbers needed to ‘scoop the loot’.
There were four post-hitters with the number 10 at the start of their combination of numbers – well, that’s not strictly true, there were two, but Taffy Freake hit the woodwork three times in the same week – unlucky, or what?
Club treasurer Rose Weiland was also close with three of the four numbers needed.
The jackpot has now hit a new high of £8,098 and will go forward to the draw on Sunday, 27 August – is someone going to have the most memorable of August Bank Holiday weekends?
