Presteigne Reserves will be back at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 7 October when they will host Brecon Northcote in a Mid Wales League (South) fixture.

After an ‘iffy’ start to the season, Mark Weiland and Alan Stocker’s side appears to have run into some welcome form.

They have won three of their last four matches with the only defeat coming in the home game against Llanidloes Town Reserves in which they went down 2-1.

But, even then, they had chances and so there must be a growing confidence within the squad that they are capable of being a match for anyone on their day – so, let’s hope that proves to be the case this weekend.

As for Brecon Northcote Reserves, they came into being this season as a result of their first team winning promotion to the Spar Mid Wales League.

Brecon’s second string is yet to win a league game this season, but they have drawn a couple, including a remarkable 5-5 fixture at home to Builth Wells Reserves.

The kick off at Llanandras Park on Saturday afternoon will be at 2.30pm and admission charges will be £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for concessions.
