As reported a few days ago on the site, Presteigne St Andrews FC had been handed an away tie at Abermule in the Central Wales Cup, second round.
That game had been scheduled for Saturday, 25 November but the odds are now very strongly on our not now heading to that corner of Montgomeryshire.
The club has received notification that – due to an administrative error – the original second-round draw has been declared null and void.
Apparently, Builth Wells FC had legitimately entered the Central Wales Cup but, for some reason, they were not included in the draw.
So, there will now be a new draw which will take place on Monday, 16 October.
As soon as we have notification of the details of the revised draw they will be posted on the site.
