Presteigne St Andrews FC will host Knighton Town FC in a Spar Mid Wales League Cup tie on Friday, 13 October.

Given the local derby element to this game – not to mention the historic rivalry between the clubs – we are expecting a large crowd at Llanandras Park.

While we will have extra stewards on hand, we would be grateful if those planning on attending the match could please take note of the following arrangements.

Players from both clubs and match officials are asked to park on the training pitch behind the clubhouse.

Given you will be there much earlier than most and will be leaving after the majority, there should be no issue in your getting your vehicles in and out of the ground when you need to do so.

We are expecting a couple of coaches or minibuses for the match – these will be parked on the main car park alongside the clubhouse.

For general spectators, parking will be on the usual ‘first come, first served’ basis and we would appreciate your cooperation in working with club volunteers.

If you are planning on parking on Clatterbrune housing estate alongside Llanandras Park, please do not park on or directly in front of residents’ driveways.

As a club, we are proud of the relationship we have with local residents and don’t wish to upset them in any way.

Please note – do not bring alcohol into the ground as no glass bottles are allowed pitchside during games.  Presteigne St Andrews FC reserves the right to either take bottles from anyone ignoring this rule, or to ask those individuals to leave the ground.

The bar will be open at various stages throughout the night and they will be very happy to serve you alcohol at times in line with our ground regulations.

Your cooperation with all of this would be much appreciated as it is promising to be a very busy night for club officials.

Admission prices will be the usual £3.00 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.

Given we are expecting a larger-than-usual crowd, if you could have the right money with you, it would be very much appreciated by those on the gate.

The kick off at Llanandras Park on Friday evening will be at 7.30pm.
