So, as expected, the Reserves’ game at home to Llandrindod Wells Reserves on Saturday, 17 March has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
In the end, the call was much closer than was originally anticipated and club officials gave it every possible chance on Saturday morning.
But, ultimately it was determined there were patches of the ground that weren’t playable and there was little chance of any improvement ahead of the scheduled kick off at 2.30pm.
So, the Reserves’ game is off – but that is not the end of the sporting action at Llanandras Park today.
The club’s Race Night in the clubhouse will go ahead as scheduled with the first race due off at 6.30pm.
