Football is back at Llanandras Park

Presteigne St Andrews will play for their first piece of silverware of the 2018-19 season on Saturday, 21 July when they will take on Clee Hill at Llanandras Park.

Well, ok, so technically the silverware is from last season as the Presteigne Otway Cup Final was held over due to the fixture congestion caused by the bad weather.

But this is promising to be a good workout for Shaun Harris’ side and a good game to have at this stage of pre-season.

Clee Hill played in the Mercian Football League, first division last season but are due to switch to the Herefordshire Football League Premier Division for the coming campaign.

Shaun and his new assistant Chris Evans will be looking to build on their encouraging start to pre-season when they enjoyed a really good work out at Bartestree.

Saturday’s game is due to kick off at 2.00pm and we are grateful to KC Electrical Services for their continued and valued sponsorship of the competition.

Admission prices will be the usual £3.00 for adults, £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
