Presteigne St Andrews FC picked up their first win of the MMP with Norman Lloyd league season when they beat Brecon Northcote 3-1 at Llanandras Park on Wednesday, 15 August.

It was to prove a red-letter day for Duane Anning as he netted a hat-trick to help the side record its first three-point haul of the campaign.

Duane has started the season in great form – two games in and he already has four goals to his name.

Shaun Harris’ side will aim to build on this on Saturday, 18 August when they will host Waterloo Rovers at Llanandras Park (Kick Off: 2.30pm).

We’ll hope to have more reaction to the win over Brecon Northcote up online in the next 24 hours or so.

A reminder that, before the first team returns to action on Saturday, the Reserves will play their first competitive match of the summer when they will head to Llanidloes Town Reserves to contest the Summer Cup final on Friday, 17 August.
