Both Presteigne St Andrews and Presteigne Reserves will be in action on Saturday, 20 October with both facing potentially tricky games.

Given the number of Friday-night games so far this season, it’s fairly unusual for both sides to be turning out on the same day.

The first team will have home advantage for their MMP with Norman Lloyd League, second-division game against Abermule.

The Montgomeryshire side are currently in fifth place in the table with 10 points from their opening six matches of the season and have won two of their three away league games.

If you would like to learn more about this weekend’s visitors then you can do so by clicking here and visiting the Abermule FC website.

As for the Reserves, they will face a trip to St Harmon for their Mid Wales League (South) fixture.

Alan Stocker takes charge in his own right for this one and he’ll be looking to turn around the Ressies’ fortunes against a St Harmon side that is currently below the Reserves in the table.

The Swifts have won only one of their seven league matches so far this season and have six points.

But they are only four points behind the Reserves in the table and they have two games in hand.

After promising starts to the season for both of our sides, they have each struggled for results in recent times so here’s hoping things begin to turn this weekend.

It’s hoped to have the results of the games up online at some stage later in the weekend.
