Presteigne St Andrews FC’s scheduled home match against Churchstoke in the MMP with Norman Lloyd League, second division has been moved to Thursday, 19 September.
It was originally due to be played on Friday, 20 September but officials at Llanandras Park had been keen to bring the game forward by 24 hours so as to avoid a clash with an event in the clubhouse on the same evening.
The clubs is staging a Tom Jones tribute night on the Friday night and so wanted a bit of extra time to prepare the clubhouse for the evening.
Obviously, this would be impossible if there were a game on the Friday evening.
We are grateful to both the league and Churchstoke FC for accommodating us in this way.
So, the home game with Churchstoke will now be on Thursday, 19 September when the kick off will be at 7.30pm.
Please amend your diaries accordingly so as to avoid the disappointment of potentially turning up 24 hours late….
