Thursday-night action for the Reserves

Presteigne Reserves will enter the Pip Samuel (Electrical) Mid Wales League (South) Cup on Thursday, 10 October.

Bryn Roberts’ side will be back at Llanandras Park where they will take on Rhayader Town Reserves in a first-round tie.

The kick off will be at 7.30pm and there will be extra time and penalties should they be required.

After putting up a battling performance in their last outing in going down 2-0 at Llanidloes Town Reserves, Bryn will be looking to his side to kick on in this one.

Rhayader Town Reserves are normally up there and challenging towards the top of the table but they have found it tougher this season.

They have won two and lost five of their league matches so far this campaign so – as with Presteigne Reserves – they’ll be hoping a win in the League Cup could prove a catalyst for their season.

So, here’s hoping the Ressies can get the right result in this one and move through to the next round.
