Presteigne St Andrews FC will be back at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 12 October when they will host Newbridge-on-Wye in a MMP with Norman Lloyd League second-division fixture.

Terry Williams’ side will go into the game looking for a lift after a disappointing run of results but knowing the Newbridge are likely to present another serious test.

Newbridge currently top the second division table with a record of six wins from their eight league games so far.

So, this could well prove a day for the first team to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in and it will certainly be a day when they’ll have to maintain their concentration throughout the 90 minutes.

Newbridge have been highly impressive on their own ground so far this season – they have scored no fewer than 28 goals in four league games with 16 of those coming in one game against Knighton Town.

On the road, their record reads two wins and two defeats with the losses coming at top-of-the-table rivals Penparcau and at Waterloo Rovers.

if you are at a loose end on Saturday then why to head down to Llanandras Park and give the lads your support?

Admission prices for the game will be the usual £3.00 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
