It’s a swift trip to the Swifts for the Reserves

Presteigne Reserves will take centre stage on Saturday, 2 November when they will head to St Harmon for a Mid Wales League (South) fixture.

It gives me no pleasure to describe it this way but there’s no getting away from the fact this will be a game between two of the three bottom sides in the division.

But Bryn Roberts’ Reserves side will head to the hills above Rhayader knowing that win in this one would take them above the Swifts in the league table and quite possibly up two places in the division.

This would, though, depend on Rhayader Town Reserves coming up with the goods in their game at second-bottom Felindre.

With no game for the first team this weekend it’s to be hoped Bryn has a strong squad from which to select.

If you are planning on heading to St Harmon to watch this one, a reminder the game is due to kick off at 2.15pm.

Here’s hoping Bryn and the boys can bring home the bacon from this one and, by doing so, kick start their league season.
