Presteigne Reserves’ Mid Wales League (South) game scheduled for Friday, 13 December has been postponed.
Bryn Roberts’ side had been due to take on Builth Wells Reserves at Llanandras Park but the heavy overnight rain put paid to any chances of the game going ahead.
Standing water on the roads as I drove back to Presteigne in the early hours of Friday morning after General Election coverage was a small clue.
So, another game to rearrange for later in the season and attention for the Reserves will now turn to the next fixture on Wednesday evening.
Bryn’s side is due to host Hay St Mary’s Reserves at Llanandras Park on Wednesday, 18 September in what will be their final game ahead of the Christmas break.
