It is with great sadness that Presteigne St Andrews FC notes the passing of Roy Lewis from the Plantation.
Roy reportedly passed away peacefully at Hereford County Hospital on 27 May aged 83.
Roy was a great supporter of the club for many years and was a Vice-President and member of the 100 Club.
As Les Pitt rightly points out, over the years we have much appreciated both his generosity and his assistance in resolving some practical matters at the ground.
Roy’s final journey will leave the Plantation at 11.35am on Monday, 8 June via Hereford Street, the bypass, High Street, Broad Street and on to the cemetery for those wishing to pay their respects.
