Presteigne St Andrews FC will continue their build up to the new Mid Wales League (South) season on Thursday, 29 July when they will host St Harmon at Llanandras Park.

The kick off in this one will be at 7.30pm and all support would be very welcome.

There had been some speculation as to whether or not the Swifts would be entering a side in ‘the South’ this season but the good news is that it appears to be all systems ‘go’ in that corner of Radnorshire.

So, the game will prove a very useful exercise for both clubs as they aim to build into the start of the league campaign.

If you are at a loose end, then why not pop down to Llanandras Park and watch what will be a pretty realistic example of the size of the task facing John Haycox’s side this season.

After encouraging performances against higher-graded sides in Radnor Valley, Bishops Castle and certainly in the second half against Bow Street in the Welsh Cup, it will be interesting to see how tonight’s game goes.

A reminder, the kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 7.30pm.
