CP Llanandras will open their Emrys Morgan Cup campaign on Friday, 17 September when they will host Rhayader Town Reserves.
The kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 7.30pm.
Bryn Roberts’ side was on the wrong end of a 7-0 scoreline in their opening league match of the season when Presteigne St Andrews proved too good on the night.
But they have had a couple of weeks to regroup and there is probably a feeling among the squad that they are not going to run into such a strong team every week, so it’s a case of: ‘Park that and we’ll go again’.
With the shortage of referees in the area at the moment, it is likely we will be staging quite a bit of Friday-night football in the coming season.
But this needn’t necessarily be a bad thing as it means those who work at weekends can still get their football ‘fix’.
