There is another feast of football available to supporters this weekend with a Friday-night home match and an away trip on Saturday afternoon.

CP Llanandras will host Brecon FC at Llanandras Park in a 7.30pm kick off.

The form book would suggest this could well be a tough encounter for Bryn Roberts’ side as Brecon are going very well this season.

They have won all three of their league matches so far and are sitting in fourth place in the table, level on points with Presteigne St Andrews FC but with two games in hand.

As for Presteigne this weekend, it’s a trip to Penybont United for them for what is a quick turn around after the fixtures met at Llanandras Park in the first league meeting of the season only a fortnight ago.

On that occasion, John Haycox’s side won three-one but they will know a trip to the Racecourse is likely to be another tough test.

Here’s hoping both sides can come up with the goods this weekend – your support at both games would be welcome

The tea hut and bar will be open at Llanandras Park on Friday evening – a reminder the kick off in that one will be at 7.30pm.
