Presteigne Reserves will continue their build up to the new season this evening with a trip to Hay St Marys Reserves where the kick off will be at 7.15pm.
These sides are certainly likely to get to know each other well in the new look Mid Wales League (South) as they will face each other three times in the league season when it starts.
There is also the chance of a League Cup meeting – and maybe two more in the ‘inter league cup’ with the Montgomeryshire Amateur League.
But tonight should prove a good workout for Roy Simcock’s side and it’s the first of two games in three days as they will host Shobdon on Thursday, 4 August (7.00pm kick off)
