Presteigne St Andrews today moved through to the Aspidistra Radnorshire Cup Final after a 3-1 away win their delayed semi-final tie at Knighton Town.

Originally due to be played last Sunday, the game finally went ahead today and Presteigne led 2-0 at the interval courtesy of goals from Danny Ives and Sam Williams.

Tom Evans netted the third – his first goal for the club – as Presteigne saw off their local rivals to book themselves a meeting in the final against Talgarth Town who were reportedly 2-1 winners at Builth Wells in their semi-final that was also played today.

The final will be played on Easter Monday – 5 April – with the venue yet to be confirmed, although Hay has been suggested as possibly hosting the game.
