Presteigne St Andrews’ supporters will have their first opportunity to take a look at Barry Williams’ first-team squad play on home soil on Wednesday 4 August when they will host Ewyas Harold in a pre-season game at Llanandras Park.
The game was arranged at relatively short notice when Ewyas Harold approached Preseteigne to see if they were available for a fixture on either of the next three Saturdays, but we weren’t, so Barry offered Willie Lindesay the chance to bring a side up on Wednesday night.
The kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 7.30pm and Dave Bywater will take charge of the game.
Meanwhile, committee members need to note that the meeting scheduled for that evening has now been brought forward by 24 hours so will now take place on Tuesday 3 August at the clubhouse when things are due to get underway at 7.30pm.
Anyone needing their football ‘fix’ this weekend is reminded that the first team is due to head to Llandrindod Wells for a friendly on Saturday 31 July when the kick off will be at 2.30pm.
