Presteigne St Andrews FC will again hold its annual fun day and beer festival – the perfect place to spend your Bank Holiday Sunday.
The day will feature a wide range of entertainment, including over 40s football, plenty of stalls and attractions for all members of the family, especially the younger members who will have use of the obligatory bouncy castle.
Then, of course, there will be the beer – a wide range of real ales and ciders will be on hand for your delectation and delight.
There will be the annual duck drop – 500 plastic ducks will be sold off at a pound apiece and these will then be tipped from the bucket of a tractor with the owner of the one landing nearest the target picking up the top prize.
When we get to the evening, the emphasis will switch to the music with bands on stage from 6.00pm onwards.
Already confirmed are The Lone Wolves, Steady Edd and the Boogie Men and The Desperados.
The committee is working hard to ensure this is a good day for all the family, but if you feel you could help out on the day, then please either email us by clicking here, or speak to the chairman Alan Randell.
