
Both the Otway and Sparey Cups have provided competitive football in recent seasons.
Presteigne St Andrews FC holds two cup competitions of its own during the season and these have always proved popular with local clubs.
The senior clubs in the area play for the Presteigne Otway Cup – one of the oldest cup competitions of its kind in the area.
Junior clubs battle it out for the Alfred Sparey Memorial Cup which is traditionally presented to the winning club by a member of the Sparey family.
Cup secretary Trevor Owens presided over the draws for the early rounds of the 2012-13 competitions was made at the committee meeting of Presteigne St Andrews FC held at the clubhouse on Monday, 24 September 2012.
