A Friday-night date for the Radnorshire Cup final at Llanandras Park

News reaches us that Presteigne St Andrews FC are to stage this year’s Radnorshire Cup final.

The game had originally been down to be played at Builth Wells FC’s Lant Field but they are reportedly now unable to stage the game and so it has been switched to Llanandras Park.

The final will be played between Hay St Mary’s and Rhayader Town and will take place on Friday, 27 May when the kick off will be at 7.30pm.

Congratulations to Hay St Mary’s Reserves who are through to the final of the Alfred Sparey Cup.

They beat Kington Town Reserves in the second semi-final on Monday, 16 May at Llanandras Park and will now meet Newcastle in the final.

This match will be the first half of what – if we were on Sky – we would be calling ‘Finals Super Sunday’ on 29 May when the kick off will be at 1 o’clock.

The Presteigne Otway Cup final will then kick off at 5 o’clock on the same day.
