Presteigne St Andrews FC has confirmed Tom Ammonds is to take on the first team manager’s role on a more permanent basis.
Tom had been acting as caretaker-manager since Mark Weiland opted to step down from the role earlier in the season.
The club’s committee held a meeting on Wednesday, 24 August where the issue was discussed and Tom was formally asked to take on the role.
Tom says, while it might have come earlier than he had originally hoped, he is ‘honoured’ and will give it everything he has got.
The committee further confirmed Dale Tomkins will take on the Reserve team manager’s job and we are grateful to Dale for stepping up.
