The Super Lotto jackpot has now topped £5,000

Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Super Lotto rolls over yet again after there was no outright winner in the latest weekly draw.

The four numbers drawn from the hat in the Farmers Inn on Sunday, 18 June were: 8, 16, 21 and 23.

So, nobody scooped the jackpot which has now risen to a ‘Yes, please, let it be me’-level of £5,121.

Ceri Brown, who was the last person to scoop the jackpot, came close again as he was among three people who ‘hit the post’ in selecting three of the four numbers needed.

In fact, the Brown family was rattling the woodwork all round as Jane also selected three of the numbers, as did Helen Chapman.

Well done to Minnie who picked up the £20 Bonus Buy Prize.

Given the jackpot has now topped the £5,000-mark it is now worth winning – I know, that degree in ‘Stating the Bleedin’ Obvious’ was always going to come in handy some day…

Tickets for the Super Lotto cost £1.00 each and are available from Carini’s Butchers, Stitch Embroidery and Print Service, Presteigne Carpets and Bed Warehouse, The Garage, Winnie’s Newsagents, The Farmers Inn and The Royal Oak.
